According to the Order № 58 by the Southwest organization from 5.03.1990 in Mukachevo was created Zakarpatye geodesic group in structure of expedition №7 Ukrainian aerogeodetic organization which has consisted of 7 employees.

During 1990-1997 the quantity of employees of this group has increased up to 40 persons.

In 1998 the Zakarpatye group of Expedition №7 was subjected to SO "Karpatygeodezkartography" (Ivano-Frankovsk) of Main Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre at Ukrainian Government consequently has started the activity of Zakarpatye regional center's of a geodesy, cartography and geoinformation systems.

	In 1999 on the basis of this regional center was created the State organization „Zakarpatskiy the geodetic centre”. The first director became well skilled specialist Oleksiy Ivan Ivanovich.
Kalinich Ivan Vasil'evich	Kalinich Ivan Vasil'evich had headed SO "Zakarpatgeodezcentre" since 2000 till 2006. During this time the organization became stronger and has ratified the place in the market of cartographical production in Ukraine.
Prodanets Ivan Ivanovich	Since 2006 the state organization is headed by Prodanets Ivan Ivanovich, who successfully continues business of the predecessors.
